Epcot is known as the more futuristic of the Disney World parks, and it’s also known for its food! Disney has been adding new rides to Epcot for the last few years, and they are still working on more attractions now. But even though there is a bit of construction, there are still plenty of fun things to do here!
Here are my 7 must-do’s for Epcot!
As a person who loves to travel, the World Showcase is a fun way to see a preview of countries I’ve never been to before. Half of Epcot is full of pavilions with buildings modeled after real-life landmarks from countries all over the world.
Of course, my favorite part is the food. Every country has a restaurant (sometimes two or three) serving authentic food from that country.

10 Snacks at Disney World You Have to Try
One of the newer rides in Epcot is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, inspired by the Pixar film, Ratatouille.
This popular ride is cute and exciting, and it makes you feel like you’ve shrunk down to the size of a rat. You wear 3D glasses to make it seem even more realistic. Definitely a fun attraction for all ages!
Soarin’ Around the World is a ride that lets you fly over gorgeous landscapes from around the world. The ride simulates flying on a hang glider. As far as being realistic, it isn’t quite as good as Avatar: Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom. But it’s still really fun, and it’s cool to see these majestic places from above.
Test Track has always been one of my favorite rides at Epcot, especially since they remodeled it a few years ago to be more high-tech. On this ride, you’re playing the part of a test dummy in a car testing facility.
You get to design your own virtual car in the queue line. Then, when you get into the real test car, you can see how your virtual car measures up to the tests the ride throws at you. The best part is the outdoor high-speed track you get to ride on!
Disney’s newest ride (at least during my last visit) is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the longest indoor coaster in the world! This rollercoaster was a blast, and it might be one of my new favorite rides in Disney World!
I was sooo excited that we got to experience it on opening day!
Even if you’ve never seen the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, you’ll still enjoy this ride. It includes a reverse launch and cars that swivel as you zoom through the darkness of space.
This coaster is pretty intense, but there are no big drops or inversions. I highly recommend riding it at least once. I could’ve ridden it over and over if I was able!
The symbol of Epcot, Spaceship Earth, has gone through many changes over the years. The ride takes you through history learning about the past, present, and possible future of communication.
While not as exciting as some of the other rides in Epcot, I still consider Spaceship Earth a must-do. Especially if you’re looking for a relaxing ride to escape the Florida heat!
Harmonious is Epcot’s new nighttime spectacular which debuted for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration. I think that this firework show is bigger and more exciting than Epcot firework shows in the past.
Not only does this show have beautiful fireworks, but it also features fountains, lights, and LED panels that show Disney characters and other graphics that match with the music.
You can get a good view of the show from anywhere in World Showcase, but try to get a spot early so you can be right alongside the water for the best view.
